1 month till release and Sony still has not confirmed the RRP price for the UK is worrying. while 49.99 is better than 89.99 i need to Sony to confirm this prices for games, why is it taking them so long

Yeah.

What i'm failing to understand atm is price.

Mark Cerny stated time to triangle is alot quicker. PS4 coding is alot easier. Then either the game should be the same price or lower.

Games should be £30 imo anyway. Not just on PC.

Or are they charging extra for higher rez, textures, lol.

If the games come out at £60. I'll be staying with PC.

FIFA = EA.

007 Nightfire came to Ps2 the price tag was 90€.

UK retailers always keep the prices high for of new consoles' games because they know people will buy them. This has happened since the SNES! WiiU games were 50 pounds each at launch (still are too some degree).

It isn't up to Sony unless it is their own games. Games like FIFA is up to EA (similar thing happened to COD which was more expensive than other games this generation with MW2 and beyond except for Sainsburys which did an awesome price for MW2) and the retailer. I don't think Sony has a RRP for games as retailers (especially in the UK) fluctuate prices depending on the other shops. Retailers have tried (evident by the 89 price point that has gone down) to see how much they can push the price but all it takes is one to undercut and all the prices will realign to the usual around £50 price

Knack and killzone are sony games but for the life of me I cant find it anywhere lower than 47

Shuhei Yoshida has stated ALL 3rd party games will be priced by 3rd part companys across the world.

The best part of £90?!? How is that even possible. I have never paid more than £40 for a game, I'll probably stretch to £45 for ps4 games but I think anything over that is ridiculously over priced

Volkama3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Just a placeholder price. Amazon UK had control pads for both systems listed at £90 for a long time as well. This isn't really "47% off" so much as "now has a price".

SniperControl3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Hey?

Dont get it, the price has been £47.00 since the day i ordered it and that was about 3 months ago.

I have been checking on a regular basis to see if the price ever changes.

Edit: In fact the price was £42 on the day i ordered it.

I've been following Amazon's game price trends for a while now and they're crap.

Luigis Mansion 3 went from £44.99 to £44.00 and whole 99pence price reduction.

Stick to Argos or Smyths for game bargains I think lads and lasses
