PS4 & Xbox One Need For Speed: Rivals will look 'subtly different'

There will be 'subtle' graphical differences between all versions of Need For Speed: Rivals - including the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, Ghost Games has confirmed.

"in my opinion" what made hotpursuit horrible fact it had Burnout engine basically it was like playing burnout instead of hotpursuit. if ghost games steer from burnout engine they might have a hit next NFS not Rival since rival is a test the water sort of deal for ghost games.

Well, Forza has much better graphics thn NFS and forza run at 60fps vs 30fps. So its safe to say even its different on both console it wont be bad on xbox.

Maybe the cars look better better but the wod effects are basically turned off. There is not realy sun reflection (besides simulated ref. from current gen) no day/night, no weather, and the envirinments are extremely basic. Plus this is an open world game, where as forza is an arcade racer.

That's someones hands-on nothing official. You really believe ps4 version would look better than a beefed up PC version? You trust THAT kind of source?? Also to remind you NFS was never shown on real ps4, only PC's with ps4 controller crashing to windows.

We don't know which console they're talking about.

He said that its more powerful than he first thought. That could be either consoles but it fits X1 more since the devkits were released a few months later than the PS4 devkits.

If the PS4 version is the only version that has been shown, one would assume it's s little father along than the XB1 version. However it comes out later. About a week. Did Microsoft pay a little more so that the XB can have it on launch day and the PS4 would have 2 week from its launch delay? Or did the PS4 have a few more bugs to squash or extra optimization time? Well with Drive Clubs Delay maybe I will get this.

I doubt MS would pay to have a game launch a week early on their system. Especially when its a third party racing game and they have forza 5.The answer to that riddle lies with EA, I say.

Well is obvious they are referring to the PS4 as many other developers has also said. In fact, I still haven't read any article saying of a multiplatform game that will look better on X1.

This is just the beginning, the PS4 is really powerful beast.

who does know that i dont know ,ps4 can be because it has liitle better hardware ,but pc will inferior is foolish and who knows which console they may be reffering ,but to me graphics are mostmatter on pc not on console it does not matter which will have better graphics ,but point is each will play same and difference will not be great.

Sounds like he's actually talking about the XB1 here...saying the PS4 is powerful is a surprise is kinda odd being as that is supposed to be it's "thing" since the day it was announced...the surprise one would be XB1. Either way he says that they will both be shown to be on "parity" and eventhough he says one looks really close to PC...if they are on Parity with each other...that means both will look close to PC build right?

The article seems to suggest the XB1 being the better version. However, all talk about the PS4 being superior leads people to believe that the PS4 version is the better one. We will know in about a month. I can't wait.
