At Gamestop.com you can pre-order all 3 versions of Halo 3. Gamestop is also taking pre-orders in their stores. After clicking the url, click the version you want on the right side of the screen.

The release date it set for 11-01-06

i had to trade in my xbox1 to pay off my gow reserve and i figured i'd go ahead and pre-order halo3.
minimium down payment for regular game was $5
collectors was $10
legendary was $25
also, the guy told me that the cost of the game (maybe just legendary edition?) would say $500 since no price has been confirmed. of course that isnt the real price they just needed some number to put down. but their website says its $100.

to #5 - dude it doesnt matter when you pay for it or what gamestop does with the money. quit looking for a reason to say something ignorant and completely unfounded. ITS THE BIGGEST GAME IN THE WORLD, there's a reason to get a preorder for it. of course a year early is kinda odd but the point is no matter when they start taking pre orders its not a bad idea to get one. why would you get upset over when people decide to pay for a preorder? jesus i hope you dont lose any sleep over this. and what would be so bad about gamestop getting money for this early? they are going to make the same amount either way....

it really does get sad about how some people get all up in arms over the dumbest sh*t. a preorder came out very early..... i dont know why they decided to take preorders now but they did. its no big deal. i'll never be able to understand how someone could insult somebody else's decision to purchase something when it has entirely NOTHING to do with them. whats even worse is why would you get upset over it? i hate the term "fanboy" but at least those people are taking up for something or argue over something they believe in. but to criticize someone else's decision as to when to pay for something baffles me.

i can see "TOM" now, standing in line at burger king and sees someone order a burger, coke, and fries instead of getting a combo and he just explodes with "people are so stupid! the combo would have made your order 11 cents cheaper. way to hand over your money to burger king and let them profit more without giving you any extra service."

I thought the regular game was 50, cause it was first party. That's what a lot of people were saying. Not that its gonna keep me from buying it, but still, can we get a solid price on the game??

i reserved my copy of the legendary edition last year. i was there the day they got the email saying that the reserves start that next day. that was back in october november time of last year. this is uber ridiculous old.
