Joe Morgan of Capsule Computers writes,
"From Software and Namco Bandai have been delivering the mecha warfare Armored Core games since the series’ premiere on the original PlayStation back in 1997. With over a dozen titles across five platforms (six with Japanese mobile games), the Armored Core franchise has proven it has staying power. How does Armored Core: Verdict Day, their newest entry, hold up? Is it worth your time or will we be picking its scrap off the battlefield? Let’s find out."
Cultured Vultures: FromSoftware appears to be moving towards a new Armored Core game, so Alex takes a look at what it would need to include.
Be fun. Be good. Be difficult but rewarding based on your skill of the rig. Be "mech-y."
If so, you'll be excited to know that there's about to be a new installment in the series. But what does this mean for fans of the game? In this post, we explore what a new Armored Core game might have to offer, and how it could impact the series as a whole. Role playing and/or open world "elements"? Not "be out of the cockpit" but ability to interact with NPCs and actively explore the world. To investigate research and scrounge about for resources and parts.
After several months of waiting, FromSoftware finally revealed the Japanese release date for Armored Core's massive CD Box.
"FromSoftware Announces Release Date for Armored Core's Massive 20th . . ."
Ooooo *clicks article*
". . . Anniversary Soundtrack"
It might show up differently on phones or whatever, but on my phone those last two words are cut out when seeing the article on the front page, and only show up when you click on it and see the full title, lol.
Neil writes "Like Lara Croft? You'll love the latest Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Publisher sale. Check out the Xbox One and Xbox 360 bargains right now!"
I kinda suspect Tomb Raider will appear on Games with Gold at some point to build up enthusiasm for the next one, but it's a good game well worth that price if you haven't played it...
Really hope gamers don't forget about this since GTA took the spotlight this month. Then again, it really is for the fans. As long as it's a smoother, bigger, more refined ACV I'm happy.
But PLEASE From, do an overhaul with AC6.
This game is so ignored it pains me. I have always gotten a mech fix with this game the customization is godly compared to something like an FPS( im looking at you titanfall). This is a game for true hardcore fans of high paced mech battles with a mess load of weapons and custom layout to really be unique in style and in combat.
