Skydive: Proximity Flight, the latest title from Gaijin Entertainment, is a game based around the high adrenaline sport of skydiving. It doesn’t sound like much of an adrenaline pumping piece when you first look at it, but quite surprisingly, what we have here is a solid game which is basic but fun.
Skydive: Proximity Flight has to go down as one of the more pleasant gaming surprises of 2014. It’s a shame that the brilliantly exciting AI races aren’t a little more fleshed out, but as a budget release, Skydive looks great, plays great and is certainly deserving of more attention than it will likely receive.

Skydive: Proximity Flight is not a game with an identity crisis; it is a focussed, well oiled experience that has no ambitions of falling into the category of jack of all trades, master of none. Skydive takes a singular idea, couples it with spot on gameplay but, ultimately, falls short due to being shallow and overpriced.
