PoSTedUP3861d ago

ya damn right im ready for 1,200+ cars! and even better psysics!!
i am hyped beyond belief for Gran Turismo 6, but IGN are way off, the most excting racing era was a long time ago; somewhere withing ps1/n64 & ps2/xbox/gc. <----(somewhere in there ..actually, everywhere in there..).

and i dont care who they had driving or which game they "made look better". IMA be flying around thoes corners with pure precision in my logitech gt pro (saving for the G25).

TXIDarkAvenger3861d ago

Yeah man, I'm ready for all those standard cars, I can't wait! /s

PoSTedUP3861d ago

nice, you actually have an idea of what youre talking about. /s

Funny how IGN decides to put a somewhat good driver on the Forza video, but decides to put a complete retard driving the GT one.

Americans...

Dee_913861d ago (Edited 3861d ago )

The forza video is with a controller, the GT6 video is with a wheel. When you see them swaying left to right and late breaking its a sign of a person new with the wheel... the driver on forza wasn't really good either lol

dumahim3861d ago

There was no late braking, there was no braking at all. You can see gas/brake response in the lower left. He was going full throttle most of the time, even into some corners that needed braking.

Dee_913861d ago

lol well you can see the break light for a fraction of a second. But I was the same way when I first used a wheel.

Nocando3861d ago

Yeah, Americans, which consists of people of every race on the face of the planet. Think on that for awhile, stupid.

pixelsword3861d ago

Nationality is a social construct so you can even say "American race" and be correct.

ghostrider323861d ago

In your country, tourists would probably get shot just for being American.

Dunban673861d ago

So video racing games were really hot 40 years ago? Wow! who would have known the era up to 1973 was so big for this type of genre

I have never been one for racing games but the crew seems promising. I'd give that one a go.

Can't wait for Mario karts, online play is gonna be intense.

deafdani3861d ago

I agree completely. That's the game that will show people what the Wii U is capable of in the online department. Mario Kart has been pretty much Nintendo's flagship franchise when it comes to online gameplay - Mario Kart had the best online on the DS, on the Wii, and the 3DS, and I expect the Wii U version to be no different.

Looking Ahead: The Lingering Questions About the Next Mario Kart

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."

I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.

nintendo needs their bangers early on

Wait. I don't get it. I reported on something that I recently noticed. I did mention in my article that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't gone to play The Division 2. That said, if this was nearly a week ago, I wouldn't know, as NO ONE REPORTED ON IT! Not IGN. Not Gamespot. Not Kotaku. No one.

You got people here complaining that there are any real gaming journalists and game journalism sucks, but when someone is acting, doing something to make something known to the public about what a company is doing. What do you do? You poke fun at it. What is it that people want? Do you want to complain for the sake of it? Or do you actually want people to do something to make those who aren't in the know aware of the shady stuff that's happening and to sound the alarm?

ravens5215d ago

It's the "oh well" setting in on digital users. They don't care they don't own their stuff for some odd reason. 🤷🏽.

FullmetalRoyale15d ago

Good for you! People sometimes just feel the need to show how little they actually have to say. Very respectful dressing down, btw, which is another thing we need more of.

fan_of_gaming15d ago

I appreciate your article,
- "If this isn’t considered both a “WTF” moment and setting a dangerous precedent, I don’t know what else it would be"
- "it could also signal other publishers that removing games from our accounts would be okay"
- "Maybe those firmly against this digital future have a point after all"
- "This. Is. Fucked. Up."

As someone against an only-digital/streaming future for entertainment content (movies/TV shows/games/books), it feels like talking into a void about the points above on this website, or on Twitter, or with my friends, etc. People don't get it. I'm strongly contemplating whether this will be my last generation of PlayStation & Xbox consoles (I'm confident enough that Nintendo's next system will still support physical media and that their 1st-party games won't have online-required installation or usage restrictions).

He is one of the long running trolls of this site, he never says anything positive. Every single one of his posts are either incorrect or flat out stupid. Pay him no mind.

Thank you @shadowhaxor, we appreciate you.

Yet people will sit here and still say that digital is better 🙃

TheSenorCheese15d ago

Welcome to the era where you no longer own your games.

gvrd001915d ago (Edited 15d ago )

I'm so done with Ubisoft, removing games one paid for is a new low...
Bye Ubisoft,
You've done f#c*ed it up !

Chocoburger15d ago

This was me 9 years ago, when I realized all they wanted to make were filler boring games that are packed with micro-trash-actions.

Snooze! Moving on from Ubi-junk!

vTuro2415d ago

I see they're trying their best to surpass Activision Blizzard for being the most hated gaming company. Keep at it, Ubisoft, I believe!
