Kotaku: "Among my personal Japan-only favorites is the PlayStation RPG Walk Over My Corpse (Ore no Shikabane wo Koeteyuke). It took sumi-e style graphics, turn-based combat, and a breeding system to make an infinitely replayable classic. Now, a decade-and-a-half after its release, the sequel was playable at this year's TGS."
PS Blog: Today we’re really happy to announce a trio of brand new PS Vita games from our JAPAN Studio: Soul Sacrifice Delta, an expanded edition of last year’s acclaimed dark fantasy adventure; dystopian action RPG Freedom Wars; and stunning JRPG Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.
Told ya'll 2014 was the year of the Vita. Already bought Toukiden, FFX-HD, DanganRonpa, Conception II, Demon's Gaze and we're not only halfway through the year. We've still got SS Delta, Oreshika and Freedom Wars to go!
I'm so happy to have Japanese games. Actual Japanese games with their quirks without all the 'appeal to the west' bs.
Vita means life!
It’s no mystery that the PS Vita could use a bit more JRPG love in the west. There are quite a few titles released or slated for release in Japan that haven’t yet been announced for North America and Europe, even between Sony’s own portfolio.
Luckily Sony Computer Entertainmente Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida hopes to bring some of them to this side of the Pacific Ocean.
Hopefully they announce a western release of these titles at E3 with fall/winter release dates.
sure would be interesting know a few people that would buy a vita for these games.
imo if you want a vita or even thinking about one i believe there are enough games to justify a purchase.
Taipei Game Show is shaping up to be one of the most relevant gaming trade shows in Asia, and many video game developers are attending with their own stage events.
Sony is probably the most relevant between the exhibitors, and since most of you won’t be able to attend, you can at least check out the recording of yesterday’s presentations in the videos below.
Looks great, but I thought this was translated as "over my dead body"?
Sounds interesting. It may be the first game I import, if it doesn't come West.
... then again, I doubt I'll be able to understand it. That would make me sad..
