FIFA 14 Vita Screens Show EA has changed Nothing Since 13

Thinking of buying FIFA 14 for the Vita this year? It’s probably best you hold off on that, especially if you own FIFA 13. People had presumed there’d be overwhelming similarities, EA had even confirmed it, but this is actually beyond ridiculous. The Legacy Edition contains no gameplay changes, nor many graphical changes, and you can see it with a single glimpse at this $40 title.

It really should not be legal what they are doing. Yet if anyone else lower than them on the corporate chain did this, it would be considered illegal.

They're pretty open with the fact it's the exact same game. It's there in the PS Store description (picture on the site).

If you tell people you've put no effort in and they buy from you anyway, it's hard for them to complain.

Pretty much dead on, still people should be brighter than this. Sadly that just isn't the case.

Just like last year plenty of people will buy it but it will come to a point when no one will want to anymore, then the Vita just gets shafted because of some greedy company.

I think it needs to be said that despite the fact the game hasn't been changed or updated since the original release, it's still a good game. I have the original Fifa game on Vita and I really enjoy playing it. I'm not going to pay $40 for a roster update, but if you just got a Vita and don't have this game yet, then I say it's still worth getting.

I am not siding with either side right now, I don't like the idea that they didn''t introduce anythign new, but I also think what else could they do? It's a FIFA game, what else do you want included?

I suppose Ultimate teams should come, but that's the only thing they could improve on.

i like the gameplay, i have fifa 13 for vita..
just a update kits and rosters update..
that's why i'm not pre-order it..
better save money, and buy other title..

That would be an untrue statement though. The very fact that FIFA 13 and 14 are almost identical on Vita should highlight how much other yearly franchises change, if anything.

Hey this is what you actually pay for every year - the same game with new rosters. furthermore all "innovations" and changes on console FIFAs and Maddens are met with massive critique from gamers - look at consumer reviews for those games on Amazon!

and this is why i never buy sports games. there is no point its the same thing every year. the only time you can see a difference is the beginning of a new generation, and that only might be some slightly new physics engine and better graphics.
