This is incredible. I'm a bit of a pilot head so my attention meter just went up for this game. Ace Combat Infinity is all I can think of right now for my piloting fix but this does sound very intriguing. I'm going to try it out at least.

I hope that those 5000 different planes all handle differently, and are not just copy and paste.

They have about 200 currently on the PC version from pre world war II right up until Korean war era.

5000 is ambitious though and the first I have heard this number and yes all the aircraft have individual flight models.

In arcade mode the aircraft handle easily and have exaggerated flight models and physics due to the nature of the game name arcade. They still handle differently enough to notice it but it has nothing on the more realistic game modes.

In historical battles which are more realistic each plane has a certain way to fly it and it takes time to learn how to fly planes.

e.g a BF 109 a german fighter was historically not a good turn fighter so you don't want to turn with a spitfire for example, you want to get above him and dive on him maintaining an altitude advantage with your superior climb.

And fanboys said that developers wouldn't support the camera because it wasn't bundled with the PS4. Not really interested in the head tracking but for people who want a camera it's good to hear.

For a flight game, like War Thunder, the headtracking will be the difference between a good and excellent player.

Good to see a developer support the PSEye but there is an issue with the head tracking as the PSEye will need the right light to track your head and you will not be able to use it in the Dark. But that said good to see a developer support it.

Lolz i guess we are thinking the same thing...you want to see the side and move your head to the right but your eyes must stay on screen, so much multi-tasking
