New Atlus Teaser Website Includes "Persona" Keyword, Color Possibly Hints to Persona 5

The newly opened teaser website by Atlus has some very telling elements in it, describing it's nature. It includes the "Persona" Keyword and prompts you to tweet with the "Persona" Hashtag, confirming that it's indeed about a Persona game.

The color also includes a solid hint to the fact that it's about a new numbered Persona.

I, for one, agree with the platforms you said.

Oh, and add VITA TV. You know, for the sexy people out there. ;)

blademaster093872d ago

Yeah, enough with the teasers! I can't bear~ it any longer!

Ohlmay3873d ago

Hopefully SEGA doesn't make Persona only available in Japan, bring it to all markets!

minimur123873d ago

Sega really annoy me when they do that.

I mean, PSO2 looks so cool!

But I've imported before and it cost me about £90
(TLOU special edition, Artbook& Comic rather than mini artbook poster and mini comic) lol
$20 shipping and £25 import fees from UPS WTF lol

Xandet3873d ago

SEGA would be foolish to not realize the monster numbers Persona games continually put up in North America, especially considering it's a niche genre. You also have to consider that Atlus has one of the most dedicated fanbases in gaming, so if SEGA does manage to **** the bed and not localize, they're gonna hear about it...and the message ain't gonna pretty.

Saw this on Shu's twitter page

Xandet3873d ago

Ooooooh, awesome find! So at this point the debate boils down to...PS3, Vita, PS4 or a combination of the three?

N4GCB3873d ago

I'm going to guess it's for vita FOR SURE as it's the only console that can play each game as of this moment (ps3's ps2 emulation is gone), and most definetely ps3 because that's what catherine is on, and I'm unsure and quite doubtful of a ps4 version just because of the time required to make all the assets for that would be atrocious.

LOGICWINS3873d ago (Edited 3873d ago )

I can tell you right now that it will NOT be a PS4 title. They've been working on this well before PS4 dev kits were available. They're likely using the same engine they used for Catherine, which was made with current gen consoles in mind.

EDIT: Also, for historical reference, P4 came out on the PS2 late in its lifecycle(while the 360 and PS3 were out). It wouldnt be unusual for Atlus to launch a Persona game towards the end of a generation.

For Sonys sake, they should try to make P5 a Vita exclusive..at least for a few years. They need to give people as many reasons as possible to buy a Vita.

Sea of stars while seeming pretty good so far doesn't belong in the top rpg discussion. There's way better ones. I'd tell them to play star ocean 2. One of the best non turn based rpgs ever. It has everything.

raWfodog137d ago

And if the list is limited to just turn-based RPGs, I can think of better ones to add to this list. You have the Dragon Quest series, the Trails series…Persona 5 Royale is on the list but why limit it to just that one? P3 and P4 were great as well.

The Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, or the Shadow Hearts games has decent enjoyable turn based combat system.

Would be plus+1 more if they'd settle the fk down and stop re releasing it. I'm waiting on the definitive one over here

BrainSyphoned316d ago

It's ok, I bought 4 to your zero, they don't need your pity purchase. Every version was definitive and has their own perks.
