Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes free for Gold Subscribers on October 1st

First released in April 2011 on Xbox Live Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is a mix between a Puzzle and a Role Playing Game. The game will be available starting October 1st up until October 15th.

It's a pretty weak offering that's for sure. But with that being said... It is indeed a pretty awesome game and I'm happy that it means more people get to play it.

Lovely mix between a Match-3 puzzler and a RPG. And to complete all the campaigns it'll take you around 20 hours. Also, the multiplayer is pretty awesome as well

The music/soundtrack was also quite good.

I really enjoyed playing this game on my PC. At first glance it did not seem like my kind of game, but the gameplay was very fun and required some thinking.

Definitely NOT an "OLD,LAME, ARCADE game".

Looking at them MS has done better with first offerings than Sony did.

Still MS needs to step it up quick to compete with the Plus of now.

I'll save you some searching, PS Plus got way better games.

Microsoft could come up with some great titles in the coming months too, but it doesn't impress me as of now.

I know they are free games, and yes I sound like a spoilt child, but this is almost insulting. Its like they are saying okay yes PS+ has had Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row 3 (soon to have Far Cry 3) but these are what we think you deserve on Xbox. Seriously if they aren't going to do this seriously I would rather they didnt bother. I remember when they announced this "games with gold" idea. We all had a laugh about Halo 3 and Assassins Creed 2 being the highlighted games but I dont think anyone thought the selection would be this bad. Fable 3 and Dead Rising 2 are the only remotely interesting games released so far. A 7 year old Rainbow 6 Vegas sandwiched between two Might & Magic games? Yep thats going to convince "on the fence" gamers which online system is better value to go with next gen. Sure we can argue about server stability etc regarding the benefits of Xboxlive but to Joe Bloggs on the street; one system is giving away a load of high profile games they've heard of and the other is mainly offering titles you'd pass over in a bargain bin.

Sorry for the rant. It's just frustrating. Do it properly or dont bother.

It is free but the quality of the titles could be a whole lot better given how much cash MS has. They can't have spent much on these really. I'm a little dissapointed.

idk why people are still giving them money, ive not payed for xbl in a while but 7 euro a month or 60 a year is a bit steep for the service theyre offering currently and what they were offering before they started throwing out insults each month, the pot needs to be sweetened a bit and then some
