FIFA 14 is coming to 3DS this week but, according to the latest Nintendo press release, it features no new gameplay features or modes. What's more, it costs £39.99.
Games Asylum: "Outdated football games are a common sight when scouring jumble sales, car boots and charity shops for bargain price video games. Entire shelves filled with decade-old FIFA and PES games spread across a dozen formats. Often they end up in bargain bins, sitting alongside unwanted celebrity fitness DVDs and seemingly random TV show box sets. But here’s the thing. Not all football games gathering dust in the likes of Oxfam are in fact worthless."

Is it just me, or are sports franchises the ONE genre where DLC makes a ton of sense?
1.You reboot the game twice a generation.
2. In between you sell DLC Roster packs each year if players want to get updated rosters.
Because number 2 is the only real reason to get it for people that buy it every year, right? I mean, I've played a fair number of these games and the "new" modes are usually only decent additions every couple of years.
Of course, these games still SELL (somehow) at full price to die hard fans, enough for them to be profitable, so a company doesn't have any reason to do this...cause they're dicks.
EA likes giving people the middle-finger.
All of sports is fuelled by business orientated greedy thugs so it does not suprise me just look at the vita version of fifa the exact same thing happened.
