As the video game industry barrels toward the launch of next-generation consoles this November, the Internet has become awash with arguments pitting Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4 against one another in a hardware-heavy fight to the death.

Just another article highlighting that the PS4 is generally more powerful yet multiplatform devs will go for parity making it not matter as much. It's not an article that very detailed on technical specs even though they question a gpu expert on the matter.

Pretty much pointless to read given all he other news with way more information that exist already.

Who really cares just get your console & be happy who cares about who's got the most powerful console , do you know the consoles are outdated anyway compared to the Pc so just enjoy your console your such a fanboy why there is no need is there , I have pr- ordered a Ps4 but not on specs the Ps4 console suited me more .
Fanboyism especially Sony fanboys not Ps4 fanboys because they just compare games etc but Sony fanboys in a poll actually put gamers off coming to Ps4 so stop it & I hope you enjoy your Ps4 kind regaurds .

I just think the PS4 is a smarter choice being thats its cheaper and more powerful on paper. I am a little upset because if the Xbox is really 50% slower, wont it hurt the cross platform titles. Also, the most troubling part is that I have seen ZERO cross platform titles running on the Xbox One. This is alarming.

I think your reading comprehension skills are lacking if you took my post as one glorifying the higher specs/power of the PS4. I don't care in the slightest that it's more powerful and I definitely don't care about any PC comparisons.

You could easily go through my history and see I'm excited about the features, the games and the future possibilities. I'm a fan of the pricing, PS+ and their stance on F2P games as well as all the indie support too.

Get off your high horse and stop making assumptions -_-

I love the new Xbox the way it looks and the new controller and features. I have been playing Xbox since the original Xbox when Halo came out. but hearing that there going to be a bigger difference between the two will make me wait and see if this will be true on 3rd party games...

I think we all agree even Microsoft said PS4 is more powerful, and how much will it be noticeable? Microsoft saying it will be less the 30 percent more like 20 percent, but time will tell.

The difference is over there the thread resembles a bit more of a conversation. We all agree PS4 is more powerful. We all agree MS is in PR hell. I dont need to hear THAT part of the conversation a thousand times like i do here.

I want to talk about :

What would any of us do in their situation.

How do they turn that around?

how does this effect their launch plans for their next console, for example, will they launch in five years because of how, seemingly under specced they are? or will they try for another 8 year stretch on this console? and how does that effect nintendos stance with there wii?

Well i think is not necesary at this point to pour salt on the cuts for the xbone fans, is already been stated that the PS4 is more powerfull, even MS has acepted this fact withs his last minute boost to the speces and their articles stating that is not 50% or 40% stronger that depends on the games etc, so this articles are not longer necesary
