Angie reports from SpawnFirst "During the presentation at Gamescom, Dead Rising 3 had suffered from framerate drop issues. However, the presentation at Tokyo Game Show has cleared up those issues. The game’s producer, Mike Jones, has confirmed that the game is locked at 30 frames. This means that no matter how many zombies, blood, or body parts are flying about the screen, your game will not slow down one bit."
The Dead Rising series has enjoyed a long and storied history over the years, but which game in the series is best?
Over the last week, Jake has been going back to the Dead Rising 2 Off The Record remaster and has been an absolute blast. When he was 15 he first got his Xbox 360 and Dead Rising with it, it was unlike any other experience. It made him wonder though, what happened to the Dead Rising series.
Interesting timing. This retrospective was released just a few days ago: https://youtu.be/Et-cKSrWuc...
They took away the depth and charm of the game that made it fun and interesting, and made it into a generic zombie killing game.
This was the series the got me to buy an Xbox 360. The first one was so good. It still had horror elements. As it went on it became kind of a parody. Never forget getting Zombie Genecider achievement and then restarting the game to get the Mega Buster. That thing was monstrous against enemies.
VGChartz's Patrick Day-Childs: "2020 is upon us! The past decade has had some downs, like the influx of monetisation within full games, Blizzard's community backlash and EA winning the worst company in America award twice, but also some ups, like the leaps in understanding gaming from more mainstream companies to wholesome news like gamers helping preserve a controller signed by someone’s deceased mum.
The decade has also been the highlight of some… bizarre news, and I decided collect together some of the more obscure and quirky stories to make you giggle or question what the hell happened this decade."
And... here... they... come.
That was my big concern although it looked like it wasn't a problem at the PAX demonstration. 30fps is good for a game with so much going on screen at once.
So wait, the frame rate issues are cleared up?
I was under the impression from a lot of the N4G crowd that this game was doomed to failure and the X1 couldn't handle a game of this size due to the 50% less power?
Lucky for me I don't believe a word they say and instead stay interested in the games for each system.
Deadrising 3 is officially day one for Xbox One!
3 out of 4 of you are so defensive it's unreal haha.. pretty funny. Sweaty palms much?
that's good for DR, i was expecting it to be sorted out anyway. Not for me though thanks, the previous two were never really loved, not sure why this one is all of a sudden..
Whatever rocks thy socks..
Great news and MS must've just given Capcom a new SDK with final specs because the producers said MS dropped something off to them a week ago
What else could MS have given Capcom to give the game extra power
