GameNTrain Preview: FIFA 14

GameNTrain author Simon Marshal writes: As another year passes, champions have already been crowned, the weak have already been relegated and the terraces continue to have the echo of the exciting chants from the previous season. After what seems to have been a relatively quick summer, the football season returns and that means the current champion is back to defend it’s crown. This is FIFA 14.

While some in the gaming community continue to wonder why a sports game needs a yearly release, I am amongst the majority in anticipating the latest game from EA Sports. In order to play the game first hand,* I attended a lock-in event at my local GAME store and was able to play the demo* which was released yesterday (Tuesday 10th September, 2013). Now that the warm up is complete, it’s time to see how this game performs under pressure when it’s late in the game.

Not all outdated football games are worthless
