PAX, for those who have never looked up anything about video games on the Internet ever, stands for “Penny Arcade Expo” and consists of the original convention (now termed “PAX Prime”) in Seattle, which began in 2004, “PAX East” founded six years later in Boston, and as of this year “PAX Australia.” Born from the webcomic Penny Arcade by authors Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, the expo celebrates all things gaming, including console, arcade, tabletop, and card gaming, and routinely pulls in close to twice the amount of attendees as E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Indie Game Insider talked to Dennis and Nick of Telltale Games about their upcoming game The Wolf Among Us.
Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Kibble got her hands on Forza 5 for the XBox One while representing The Game Fanatics at PAX Prime. Check out this video of her taking the game for a test drive (yeah, I went there) and read up on her impression of the title's look and feel.
There is no denying that this is THE Xbox One game to get and it's best representation of next gen. Forza looks good as usual.
"The Crew is a new racing game by Ubisoft. The game is an MMO-style racing game in which racers make up the gangs and crews of the world. The Crew also has a huge world and a leveling system that allows the players to unlock more stuff. While Ubisoft is not known for their racing games, this one seems like it could be fun. I got my hands on a test build of the game at PAX Prime 2013, and during that demo, I got to get a feel for the game." Zack
