Boy what a suck up!! the game is okay, i have played all the down loadable demos, and all the demos at bestbuy, It's a very good game, but MARIO GALAXY?? HELL NO!!! Super mario bros. U, yes, I agree with that... Boy ubisoft are we getting scared? Mario 3d, Donkey kong tropical freeze and Sonic's lost world are coming, and I think I know which one wii u fans are going to buy... Don't pay off some critic to overblow your game, but hey man, don't worry, Me and the other wii u fans will buy it by the tons, when it comes to the 19.99 bin at bestbuy, just not now, not with mario and donkey kong and sonic coming out... 60 bucks for this game? HELL NO!! but mark that sucker down to 20 bucks and it's mine!! You should not have delayed the game, that was your fault, so don't blame nintendo fans this fall when they will be buying mario, DK, and sonic!!

Gonna have to agree with sir Thomas here... although slightly less angrily. I was planning on getting this day one when there was nothing to play on wiiU, but now it's releasing near the busiest time of the gaming year and I have about 5 wiiU games to pick up ahead of this as well as 3-4 ps360 games... aaaaaand a new console in November.

Sorry Ubisoft, you had the sale back in March... too late now for a day one purchase... I'll pick it up down the line at some point I'm sure looks great.

Speak for yourself. I'm buying Raymand Legends day one for the Wii U and later on the PS3 for the trophies (and also the Vita if it doesn't share trophies with the PS3 version). Rayman Origins was simply the best 2D platformer I've ever played and I'm going to get the most out of Legends.

And yes, I'm also buying Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Sonic: Lost World. They all look like great games that will be worth playing.

Id rather buy a tesla card than get this game day one. Ubisoft just hasnt made that big of a commitment to the wiiu unlike platinum games. I was pumped to get it earlier but after seeing sonic and w101 along with the jan 2013 releases I dont really see my self playing this game much now.

I understand the contracts that caused this to happen, I think every one has that over their head now. Yet I haven't touched your demo in months now. I would rather play ghouls and ghost right now or duck tales oooh oh.

The game play may need tweaking.... I beat the demo pretty handly and still have 17 play thurs left I believe. I expect more of a struggle out of trying to master a 2d game.

easier than galaxy? No thanks... get a patch ready quickly I will not pay for a hide an seek game unless its going to be taxing. Too much good art in this game to not have a good single player experience. This is such a wasted opportunity.

Ubisoft please understand we just bought the first kid icuras, we are waiting on mario kart 8 that punishes you for winning lol. A good sonic 3d game you should be showing screens of your next rayman by now!

oh well I guess ill get this game once the second software drought hits. They should just delay it again and keep building on to it. I hope they realize they are up again mario games that are not graphical show cases right now.

maybe ill change my mind but only after some time I believe. Im more excited about knack than this and I dont even really like knack. I did like ray man though.... oh well.

Ubisoft has supported the Wi U more than any other developer so far including NINTENDO!

I am sure Nintendo could have cut a deal w Ubisoft to keep the original release date but they were not willing to do it- why would anyone blame Ubisoft for making a sound and reasonable decision to delay Rayman when they had all the sales data they needed re the Wii U and software sales to make a god decision?

Do people think Ubisoft should have just committed financial suicide by releasing Rayman into an unwinnable situation?

The current situation is the unwinnable one. Unless you are claiming sony or ms money hatted them. Rayman had a chance to move consoles and shine. This was a political move against the producer so this game would not out shine asscreed or zombi u. Remember he made raving rabbits and was promised he could make another ray man.

its clear ubi doesn't believe in this game. It will sell like other cash in games and be in the bargain bin. Zombie u really does need a better fighting system also. I would have rather seen red steel 3.

You see that's the problem I have with Nintendo. I love it's games like Mario, pokemon, Zelda, DK games, etc but I have played it so many times that I just don't see a need in buying anymore. I have bought Mario games on the Famicom, N64, GBC, GBA, DS, GameCube, and Wii and well there isn't really a difference in any of them. People will continue to buy it because it's Mario, but come on, i have basically played the same game with new items for decades now. I play my gba, N64, and GameCube games more than my wii or Ds games. (not really a reply to you, but just like you loving your Nintendo I wanted to rant about nintendo as well)

It's hard to believe that this game is finally coming out. One of my most anticipated Wii U games since the launch and from what the review says, it's worth the wait.

Kinda bummed by the reported lower difficulty, though. I thought Origins' main levels' difficulty was right where it needed to be: tough, but with good flow and amazing reward.

100% Galaxy was no easy feat. Then completing the game on the 2nd go around as Luigi was even harder.

So butt hurt just because it didn't end up exclusive. Blame Nintendo for releasing the system with barely any good games to play near launch, don't blame Ubisoft for their one game that didn't come out when it was supposed to.

I'm really sick of people forwarding this stupid dishonest notion about Wii U owners when it comes to this game. No one but the overzealous fanboys are upset about the game being on other consoles.

You know what Nintendo fans are "butt hurt" over? The unnecessary delay of a Wii U game that was in a finished state since February. No matter what, it was a stupid decision because now no matter what the game will not sell well. It's going up against W101/Zelda on Wii U and GTAV on 360/PS3. They will be lucky if they break even half of the numbers they are expecting.

Quick question, what's the difference about origins and legends? I read an article and I came out with the thought that it was just 40 of the levels from origins. I know I'm most likely wrong, but I have never played origins. I might get it now and then legends later. Looks really fun

Rayman Legends is a sequel to Origins.

Since the delay earlier this year, the developers have added many additional levels to the game, including 40 remade levels from Origins.

If you're not into platformers, there are very few reasons to get a Wii U right now. If you are into platformers, you might just jizz yourself if you see what's available and on its way to the Wii U.
