A remake of X Rebirth: Home of Light for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift has been released into Early Access.
EGOSOFT has announced that the Birth of Light expansion and the 4.0 update will be launched for their spaceship sim X Rebirth this coming February 2016. Preorders for the expansion are now available as well.
GG3 writes: "Grand space sci-fi game, X Rebirth, has announced a permanent price drop. Additionally, as the game moves to update 3.50, a free-to-play weekend for that iteration, as well as the entire X series, will be held on March 13 to March 15, 2015 on Steam."

Not as graphically intense as StarCitizen but X-Rebirth will TAX your brain and your space pilot skills like no other.
X-Rebirth = Eve Online but with WAAAAY More action in a Gigantic Single Player Mode.
Looking forward to the enhanced A.I. as the Game and universe moves along even when the player is not there.
Sure I would love to play GTAV day 1 but X-Rebirth will fill that void very very Nicely.
Will be buying this Day 1.
Its my fav genre.
You should write a large article about X rebirth, its dev cycle and what its bringing to space hungry consumers waiting for games like this. Star citizen's funding is an example.
