Ludosity's Ittle Dew Was Pitched to Nintendo as a Zelda Game

Earlier in the Summer Ludosity confirmed that it's bringing its title Ittle Dew to the Wii U eShop. It's often been described as a "Zelda-inspired" game, and not in the usual practice of listing popular franchises that have had some minor influence on a game. This really is a game with a strong resemblance to Nintendo's popular series, so much so that before it was confirmed some questioned whether Nintendo would approve of the similarities.

Off topic but they should make a NES-custom game maker. Like you use the gamepad to select through elements of the game, maybe make your own sprites. Then release custom mario/zelda/metroid nes games through miiverse that can get rated and such. Insert game text to explain a story, use a mario paint kind of system to make your own music.
Obviously youd have to pay for each game you make/play levels for. And the creator would have to beat the game before releasing it to ensure they're not trolling releasing unbeatable metroid games...

Ittle Dew adventures onto Nintendo Switch this August

According to the Nintendo Switch e shop the original Ittle Dew will adventure onto the Nintendo Switch on August 15, 2019. For the longest time Switch players have only had access to the second Ittle Dew, but now fans of the original and others will be able to enjoy its predecessor on the go.
