Rime: PS4's new IP

Tequila Works (Deadlight) is abandoning dreary silhouettes to venture out into a cel-shaded island in Rime for the PS4, Sony announced at their Gamescom press conference today.

The game is how I imagine The Last Guardian will look. I just love the design of the game and it just looks beautiful.

This will definitely fill the empty hole that has been Team ICO's absence, that is until we finally get our hands on The Last Guardian, if it ever comes out of hiding :P Fingers crossed for a TGS appearance.

Rime was definitely one of the games that really caught my attention today, been dying to explore a cell shaded fantasy world full of its own lore for a long time now, this is first one since wind waker on GCN that has taken my interest :)

Wow, I thought the same thing. The bridge scene reminded me alot of SotC. Also, the climbing reminded me of the 2008 PoP, with the cell shaded Wind Waker look. Looks really good!

Just one more awesome reason why PS4 will be my first Sony console. There is more that appeals to me than with the XB1, even though I own a 360 and love the controller, I just don't have a lot of interest in what XB1 is offering.

It's going to be a good console, but PS4 I think, will offer a wider variety of games that are of higher quality and more memorable.

I just hope the DS4 is better than those other past horrible Dual shock controllers.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is by far the game I'm most hyped for from this presentation. The Witness didn't show but I'm super excited for that too.

Really interested in this game. What initially caught my attention was the music they used, hopefully more awesome music like that exists in the game.

The visuals IMO is breathtaking. Something about it looks simple, yet complex and draws you in with its fluid animation and lack of aliasing.

This is the game of Gamescom for me.
