Love this character design. The cyber punk version of the old games just wouldn't work with the vision of the new game. Love the first 3 characters and love Thunder here.

He looks so bad ass! Thunder definitely makes the most sense as the character to become a grappler, since we all knew the game was getting one. Cannot wait to see more at Gamescom and pick this up in November!

Edit: Btw did anyone else notice the color swap on Jago? I'm thinking that might be Shadow Jago.

Rumor and speculation says that ps4 will be getting Bloody Roar. Which is another game that I would love to see make a comeback.

The only thing I think I am going to miss is his PHOEEEEEEENIX projectile.

KI does look great though....cannot wait to play it.

LOL at TJ Combo! yea man, I want to see how they'll update him. I really hope they don't go the stereo typical "black man-boxer" route that a lot of other fighting games do...but I think they will anyways.

Chief Thunder looks GREAT. I love the thought and detail the devs have put into the new direction of his appearance and story line.

I agree with gedden7. Even though I'm a Forza fanatic, this is the game I have been waiting on for nearly 20 years and the biggest reason I would want an XBOX ONE. These devs come off so passionate about this franchise and the work what they're putting into this title. Now I'm anticipating more information / new character videos. I wanna see TJ Combo next.

wow am seriously having some.crazy nostalgia over this game ...the title music alone gets me giddy double helix focus and dedication to this game is incredible....am getting a.season pass for KI for sure....hope they add 1 or 2 new characters as well...

ok, is anyone concerned at 2:06 that a grappler character has a dash that moves further, completely invulnerable AND can be Super cancelled?

Anyways this game is really looking bad a**. I was not a fan of the old KI but this has some serious promise so far.

Also, you just know they're going have Original skins as DLC.

No because grapplers tend to be harder unless you know what you're doing because they are slow and any decent player would just keep his distance while using quick strikes/ranged attacks which is hard for you defend and do similar offensive damage because grapplers don't usually have a lot of long range capabilities so this balances out that weakness. That's the key to fighting games is that balancing each characters strengths and weakness is really hard to get just right, hell I can't think of 1 fighting game where the balance in attacks is perfect and it won't be in KI either of course, but as long as all the characters are dangerous in the right hands then you have yourself a helluva fighting game, which quite frankly imo except for Injustice the genre has been pretty stale for awhile. I seriously don't know what took greedy micro so long, many fans have been asking for some KI action for years, KI is truly 1 of my old favorites so DH definitely has my attention.

yeah while I like the new character overhauled looks a lot better than just releasing it with upgraded graphics of the old look, I still think it would be cool as hell just for nostalgia's sake to have original character skins DLC.

I understand this but the point of a grappler character is that he's slow and very hard to get in on another character. that is where the work comes in because once a grappler gets inside the payoff is immense.

I'm just really afraid of a high damaging grappler, with a half screen full dash that's invincible and can be super cancelled.

Just thinking about that sends shivers down my spine.

I still like the original character designs and music more! hopefully we can get the classic design and original music thru DLC or something?
