VVV: "This is where Oculus Rift comes in, a virtual reality 3D headset that has the potential to shape the future of gaming by upping the level of immersion to a whole new level.
We managed to get our first look at Oculus Rift at the EToo event (London's homegrown equivalent to E3) in a hands-on session with Strike Suit Zero, an indie space combat game released earlier in the year for PC. Here the developer's Community Manager talks us through the process of adapting their title for Oculus Rift before Alan had a hands-on with the device whilst trying not to get motion sickness in the dizzying, immersive 3D environment:"
Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.
Electronic Arts has confirmed that while F1 23 will support PC VR it will not support PSVR 2 on PlayStation 5.
That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.
Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.
But it's EA. They don't think.
A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?
Here's a forgotten VR gem for you from 2019. Epic Games' action-packed Robo Recall, which is also available for Quest 2.
Although I never owned an oculus, I played the demo for this at an electronics store. Pretty impressive in an early goings of VR title.
I really hope MS and Sony eventually bring out their own versions of this for XB1 and PS4. To me, this would be the next step in next gen gaming. Plus it's a good alternative to a 3dtv in some respects
this is totally next gen gaming. I can't wait for this. with this... gamers don't need to spend thousands of dollars on big tvs. The OcRift gives you immersion like no other
PS4 OCULUS 2015 PLEASE.
