Codemasters just informed via press release that they start a cooperation with RTT, a company that develops 3D visualization software for e.g. the automobile industry. Part of deal is to pimp the Ego game engine that powers Race driver: GRID.
While it's not very likely that GRID will benefit from the deal, future Ego-Engine driving games could look way better than GRID already does. German site PCGH.de shows the potential graphics wise in comparing current ingame/tech shots from Grid with actual automobile pics done with the raytracer from RTT.
