GTA V Walkthrough | Current Gen or Next Gen?

Pocketlint speculates the need for a GTA V Walkthrough, and even better, the need for XBox One or PS4 where Grand Theft Auto Five is concerned.

I'll wait for the ps4 and pc version.

DannyTanner3949d ago

No doubt it will look just as amazing on PS3 (and almost as amazing on X360)

Alex2493949d ago

yeah I'm just scared it will lag and freeze on current gen. because the game is so huge! So I'd think ill patiently wait.

tokugawa3949d ago

i might even save your comment danny, for when the lens of truth articles show that the games is exactly the same on both consoles.

Stsonic3949d ago

Why would the same game look just as good on 8 year old hardware than PS4 or PC?

I think that is what your saying but a bit confused.

Foxgod3949d ago (Edited 3949d ago )

Even tho i am getting the Ps3 version, do remember that the 360 version of GTA4 looked better (higher res, less popins, more foliage) then the ps3 version.

I hope they get both versions run the same this time around.

Also, the size of the map is not an issue, its the area thats rendered that can make an issue, and as far as i can tell, thats similar to GTA4, so theres no reason why GTAV should freeze or lag.

Koyes, thanks for the would be compliment however I wasn't making an attempt at a flamewar. Rather stating my opinion. I own both consoles and generally was lead to believe i'd enjoy the PS3 version more (silly Gamestop employees), however as Foxgod educated me on the fact that the X360 version of GTA 4 actually had better rendering material than the PS3 version, that itself is actually both surprising and refreshing. Both consoles have wins on every side of the playing field when comparing ported releases depending on the title, the build's original platform, the work involved by the dev team and other various reasons can bring out a better product on either platform. In this case, I felt the PS3 would handle the 'bigness' of GTA V better is all I meant.

Any thoughts on the GTA V Walkthrough website?

Grand Theft Auto V was released over 9 years ago, but the player base is largely intact due to regular updates to the Online Multiplayer. The game had some technical issues at launch, most notably a CPU utilization issue, but most recent chips shouldn’t have any issues running it.

i think the only real loss is GTAV

OtterX6d ago

I think everyone and their sister owns the game by now. They likely want to squeeze the rest of the holdouts before GTAVI releases.

Profchaos6d ago

That game comes and goes from subscriptions so frequently I think it's expected now. Like rdr2 on gamepass Rockstar Games only last a max of 3 months On a service

MrBaskerville6d ago

Talos Principle is the real loss.

BanginTunes5d ago

Facts that game is good as fuck I'm playing through 2 now, very underrated

Huey_My_D_Long6d ago

indivisible was pretty neat. Cute artstyle, fun throwback to older RPGs, shame its leaving but it is on sale often

shinoff21836d ago

Definitely. I e joyed what I played of it. Still gotta grab the physical at some point

Petebloodyonion6d ago

I'm not surprised by GTA V removal, Rockstar never allows this game to stay long on a subscription service.
They usually allow 4 to 6 months.

lodossrage6d ago

Yeah, they do that routinely with both GTA and Red Dead.

But it's because they know they can still sell them so they take them off and on to these sub services in cycle.

The weird thing to me is why is anyone still buying those games at this point? You would think after 3 generations of being sold GTA 5 that everyone and their momma would have it by now

RNTody6d ago

I fail to see how the loss of an almost 11 year old game that released across 3 generations is in any way a problem.
