Why I Traded The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass for Pokémon: HeartGold

It’s a well-known fact that the only people who don’t love Legend of Zelda are those who have no souls. It’s also a well-known fact that Legend of Zelda games have been getting somewhat stupider in recent years.

Does anybody actually care why you did?

abzdine3933d ago

this article is such a disgrace, poorly written and i bothered clicking cause i was expecting some kind of a strong argument against the game but no, i dont even understand why you bought PH in first place?

Haven't you seen through videos that it's fully controlled with stylus? and i dont know what's wrong with you if you couldn't control the game correct but many people find zelda DS very enjoyable with very responsive and very easy controls.

I loved PH as much as i loved Spirit Tracks, Zelda is all about reinventing itself without sacrificing quality. If the dungeon type of games isn't for you i understand but bitch because a game uses stylus is the dumbest thing i've heard in ages!

Story quality: WTF?

Because you wanted to catch them all?

duducus3933d ago

Thanks for telling us, I'm sure everyone really wants to know why... -.-

blueberry3933d ago

I do, actually.

If I can read about cutting, zombies, blood and tits, I can read this one as well.

Had fun.

The controls were actually one of the best parts of Phantom hourglass...

MadLad3933d ago (Edited 3933d ago )

I, personally, didn't think so.
I just feel using the stylus, therefor blocking a large chunk of the screen at all times, is a poor way to do things.

Not one who thumbed you down, btw.
Opinions are just that.

Why is this even an article? Though if it was me I would choose a Pokemon game over a ds zelda game

Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword lol

My kid yesterday proclaimed he liked the DS more than the Switch because the controls work on the go. Then I asked if he would rather have Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Steam or Switch and he chose Steam. So proud!

Probably an emulated port or something as low effort

Jeriphro1189d ago

It would need to be completely redone if it is coming to the Switch. Those touch controls would make it impossible in docked mode.

phoenixwing1188d ago

Who says nintendo has to go to the trouble of making it playable docked. Could just tell everyone to play handheld. They're nintendo after all. I've seen ppl defend nintendo for less so don't say it couldn't happen lol

SoulWarrior1188d ago

A port would be a lot better than using the awful stylus movement on DS, be cool if they did the same for spirit tracks.
