Target Lists Release Dates for Nintendo’s Holiday Lineup

GenGAME writes: "Normally when we see placeholder release dates for video games, there’s no real rhyme or reason. They’re usually slapped into a certain month on the first day, or the last day, or a totally random day. Target has updated their listings for Nintendo’s holiday catalog, including The Wind Waker HD, A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D World, and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze… and the dates they have listed don’t seem totally far-fetched!"

Part of me thinks Nintendo sent them general plans to reserve shelf space, and the guy who runs the website just plugged in the Friday release dates they expect for their video games department. So I expect the final dates to be slightly different than this, probably Sundays.

I can't wait for the Nintendo holiday line up. A first party exclusive for every month for the rest of the year. Next up is Wonderful 101. Can't wait!

its about time that Wii U owners can be proud of their system! Pikmin is the start of a hopefully upward trend. After experienceing the quality of Pikmin 3, Im going to pre order some of these so I can pay them down over time. I dont usually buy games right at release either, but I know I will enjoy the crap out of these games so I wont do any fence sitting.

That's what I have been doing! Just paid for New Super Luigi U (Disc Version) cause I have a feeling that is going to become pretty hard to find one day out in the wild. I also have my copy of Wonderful 101 pre ordered as well.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - Classic Zelda turns 10

The Nintendo 3DS' The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is now 10 years old, yet remains a remarkable experience.

Calling this classic feels so weird to me. It's still the newest game in the old style... hope they make another one.

I would love a remake of Link to the Past, one in a similar vain to Link's Awakening.

Neonridr181d ago

it was an awesome game and utilized the 3D very well on the 3DS. A Link to the Past is one of my favorite Zelda games, so this one being a true sequel to that title really hit home with me.

I bought this very long ago, and it’s still in my backlog!

I'm glad they didn't. I heard he was asking for way too much money to reprise his role as a mascot. Which is ludicrous since everybody knows Rambi is the real star here. Enguarde is just a second stinger at best.

The audacity of this fish! SHAME!!!
