Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark Review - PSLS

Kicking off the PSN PLAY 2013 promotion is Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark, a port of a PC game, originally titled Stealth Bastard. Stealth Bastard is definitely a more appropriate name as you’ll be swearing more than once during the course of your time with SI:ACitD; just not in a bad way. - PSLS

Fun game, i definatelly apreciate picking it up on My vita, i feel like its Perfect for the vita, Play five minutes on the bus or whatever, then you can do the pause feature and do whatever and come back to it later. Its a nice little bit of fun, but of course if you just sit down and power through it, your gonna feel cheated of your money a little, as with all $10 games.

Well they Curve studios confirmed that they will be including the ability to share custom made levels online, and this update will be free. So that will definately help. Plus the already 80 levels and the race to reach the top of the leaderboards is keeping me happy for now. Truly brilliant level design. Seriously I can't remember puzzles this clever. At least not since Portal and Quantum Conundrum.

I'll have to check out a demo or Let's Play. Not sure I'll love this and there are so many games to spend money on.

This will probably be available on ps plus in a few months, I think I will wait.

I like the character design, I'll give it a try eventually.

Stealth Inc 2 - A Pixelated Review

Stealth Inc 2: A Game Of Clones is a challenging and fun puzzle platformer in which the character controls a clone trying to free itself and others from a testing facility. The game seems a like curious mix of the serious Xbox 360 arcade game, Shadow Complex, and the much loved indie game, Fez. It's undeniably cute, but the premise surrounding the puzzles and platforming exploration of the game can also be very dark.

A Game Of Clones was preceded by another play-on-words titled game called Stealth Inc: A Clone In The Dark. This first game was originally called, I kid you not, Stealth Bastard when it was originally released. In addition to a better title, A Game Of Clones is also a more robust and polished product than its predecessor.

Even though it didn't make our list this year, I just started playing Persona 4 Golden, and even though I'm not far enough into it to add to this list, I'm still pretty impressed with how much there is to do in that game, and it just keeps adding new things all the time! At this rate, I'm pretty confident it'll be on this list next year!

Killz4Twinkies3374d ago

Easily one of the best Vita games if not one of the best games period. Enjoy - it continually gets better especially in the second half of the game!

the console desperately needs the Mon HUn 5 & series on it ...and AAA japan console exclusive (not Sony systems exclusive) ...by giving Vita exclusives to PS4 Sony backstabbing their own console

Protagonist3374d ago

@TheDude79

Better late than never, Persona 4 Golden is truly one of the best games ever created.

Tetsujin3374d ago

I'd add Muramasa Rebirth, I like that game a lot.

Protagonist3374d ago

Also Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice Delta, but in the end this is shortpause.com personal list, so it is all good ;)

TheDude793374d ago

@Antikbaka: Soul Sacrifice was definitely a really good game! Sadly, I have yet to play a single Katamari game! I'll add it to my list of Vita games to play

@Spotie: I enjoyed Gravity Rush as well, but I'd really like to see a sequel. It has serious potential as a series!

also maybe some psp games, like patapon 1-3. i actually bought ps vita because of nostalgia about those 3

Hotline Miami...but it's multiplatform and steam is always cheaper.

Rayman Origins is great too. Thimling about buying Tearaway.

Binding of isaac woul be great choice too, but it's not cross-buy (what a shame).

"Thomas was alone" was a great indie discovery.

Disgaea 4 since it's an HD port, although i'd love to play Disgaea 2 in hd if they made one, the best theme song there.

"Stick it to the man" Just fun and good game, nothing serious.

Persona 3 - bought one with 2D city visual style but battles were 3D like in P4 Golden, although didn't regret it.

And the last but not the least - Virtue's Last reward. Oh, the story and puzzles, and all that time jumping and choices felt like reading old interective book.

Just Finished KZ:Mercenary twice... best KZ since 2.

TheDude793374d ago

It was soooo hard removing KZ:M off that list, like painfully hard. Doesn't take away from the fact that it most definitely is the best KZ since 2, I agree 100% with you!
