GamesRadar - What other beat-'em-up has your character jamming out to air guitar riffs at the end of each level? None I know of, besides Double Dragon Neon. This nostalgic brawler is merely a download away, and with a cheap price of admission, it's easy to play right now. And you should do so immediately, because it's one of the most stylish, difficult, and delightfully goofy games out there. If you can't surrender yourself to its gaudy, straightforward fun, then darn it, I feel sorry for you.
With River City Girls 2 arriving next week, it's time to look at the company's best!
"Digital games are more convenient than physical games, and usually cheaper too. Still, there's something about collecting physical games that appeals to many gamers. Preordering limited physical editions directly from boutique labels is always an option, but sometimes retailers offer the same editions for a better price. That's certainly the case with Best Buy, which currently has 14 Nintendo Switch titles from Limited Run up for preorder, including TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, Double Dragon Neon, and several more co-op hits," says Co-Optimus.
Limited Run Games is preparing physical editions for both Double Dragon Neon and Double Dragon IV for the Switch that include standard and Classic Limited Editions. Pre-orders go live on May 28th, 2021.
The original Double Dragon from the Arcades about 30 odd years ago was amazing at the time, i played Double Dragon Neon not long ago and it had totally lost all of its appeal, its either Double Dragon isnt that good anymore or Neon is a crap representative of the original..
Wish someone would do a rerelease of BattleToads and Lost Vikings I would play those titles again.
I'm still waiting on online co-op.
Excellent game, they need to keep this going with a sequel. Maybe shift it to the 90's or something.
Got it when it was on psn plus for free.
It is pretty decent and the art style is quite gorgeous.
I personally thought the game sucked, I was completely disappointed with it as is the case with almost everything "WayForward" creates. You can imagine it is with bated breath that I wait for the "Ducktales" remake to be released.
