$ years in development, not being developed on for 4 years. Completely different things. That would be cool if it was 4 years, I just don't see how this game would even make it with that much effort. Cricket seriously doesn't have a big enough fanbase to be interested in a console/PC game. I'd like them to be successful, I just don't see it happening.

cricket is the 2nd most watched sports after soccer, oh in india alone there are over a billion cricket fans. Their stars are treated like Royalty

For guys who aren't into cricket and unaware of this game ! This is huge .. Sir Don Bradman is for cricket what Michael Jordan is for basketball , what Federer is for tennis and so on !!

Big Ant Studios officially revealed Cricket 14 last week with a gameplay trailer, but the game had so far only been confirmed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Today the studio announced via Twitter that it was planning to release the game on PS4 and Xbox One my mid-2014.

I wish that I truly understood this game. I have seen it before, but I have no idea how the game is scored. Maybe a good game could help me out. I think I learned everything that I know about rugby from playing rugby games. Now, I am a fan. Aussie rules football is fun to watch as well. Being born in America, I was used to typical "American" sports. However, having lived all over the world, I was exposed to so many interesting sports.
