My introduction to the Dynasty Warriors series, well-known for its familiar hack-n-slash, one man versus army combat, occurred with one of the games spin-off titles, Samurai Warriors 4-2, a game that I recently played and thoroughly enjoyed due to the easy to get into mechanics and over the top kinetic combat and wonderful visual presentation on PS4. It made me an instant fan of the series and made me interested in seeking out future releases as well as other games in the genre. I really want to seek out and play the Zelda and Dragon Quest Warriors-like games now.

i played the series from 2 to 5 (going through most of the xtreme legends and empires), i left the games after it as it didn't bring much save for orochi (and that was because of the story). this was a disappointment !
the game seems to hate what good it brought us in DW3, the way you play the game and the battles have no effect on the story\end of story, you get will never be able to stick with one character all the way to build it, the jumping from event to event is pretty damn tiring, and this is just the tip of the iceberg, in short this game deserves a 6\10. and is otherwise unremarkable ...

impressive. I kinda like dynasty warriors but they started making crazy decisions that kept me away for the past decade.. I might try this
