Golden Sun is one of the few RPG's I go back to again and again, the second one is a masterpiece imo.

I remember when I was younger, probably around 7-10 years ago I saw Mario RPG at the local game store for $35 dollars. I knew from my time renting it I had to buy it so I decided to save up for it. Everytime I went to the store I would look to see if the game was still there. Never thought I would spend 35 for a SNES game, but it was worth it, oh so worth it

I have the village song from Mario in my itunes, just an amazing collaboration between Nintendo and Squaresoft (before they would become Square Enix)

Here's the Ghetto Gamer list of top 20 soundtracks from the 16-bit era.
