Trion Worlds may consider porting fantasy MMORPG Rift to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the future, senior designer director Simon Ffinch has revealed, telling VideoGamer.com that the publisher will likely wait to "see how those consoles develop" before reaching a decision.
Players can progress through 30 levels of challenges by completing daily and weekly quests, thus earning Battle Pass experience points and rewards. The Battle Pass can be played for free and will reward players with various consumables and a set of artifacts that will literally make their pants burn – the “Pants on Fire” effect

After an indeterminate amount of time, the Hellbugs have reared their ugly heads once again to invade Rift. It’s up to players to fight these hellish creatures to save Telara – and in doing so – earn a number of unique rewards that will display their dominance over the Hellbugs.

Anyway, why not. RIFT is one of the very few MMO that I've tried and really liked. Cool game.

People will be forced to use a keyboard and mouse then, because Rift has loads of buttons.
Funny how all of a sudden console gamers care about MMOs, F2P, or indie games
Interesting because Rift is a really good MMO which recently went F2P and saw an insane boost in playerbase. Would love to see it on consoles as well, although its hard with a controller and really needs a keyboard + mouse.
