Amazon PS4 launch bundles sold out

Five out of six total PlayStation 4 bundles are currently sold out at Amazon, with the PlayStation 4: Standard Edition being the lone offering that is currently available for pre-order, the retailer says.

Cool. The consoles just got announced a few weeks ago, they are not launching for another few months so it would suck if already they are thinning out.

BB, Walmart and Target are good places to look for a PS4. If those places sell out, oh boy. We are not even talking about black friday when those places 100% will be sold out of ANYTHING PS4 related (system, games, controllers, etc).

I think the console war this generation is going to be a big deal. Both consoles now require monthly subscriptions for online means not everyone will be able to afford to play both.

No matter what anyone says, the PS4 is already in the lead. Only because Microsoft has been getting a ton of bad press.

The take on the Amazon PS4 pre order program would be that Launch Day and bundled consoles are no longer available meaning the system is completely sold out! standard edition is not guaranteed that you'll recieve it within that launch window which would move you into the second wave of shipments.

I've some friends in industry and rumors are sonys initial allotment are a lot less than demand is showing. They didn't anticipate such a frenzy and you can't just tell your manufacturer "we need an extra 5 million in the next 30 days please"

if you have a PC then there is not doubt the best version, with the best visuals and stuff will be on PC. If I were you I would go for Killzone on PS4 and Watchdog on PC.

Except Ubisoft tend to screw the pooch with their games on PC thanks to pointless DRM that often causes saving issues instead.

If it wasn't for having lost save data on the AC games I'd say yeah, but Ubi aren't very customer friendly to PC gamers.

They do change A LOT. That's good, but what do you want them to do with Killzone? Make it a platformer? They've added tons of features and made the playable world MUCH larger.

From Killzone 1 to Killzone 2, they added a cover/lean mechanic (first for an FPS), changed the enemy type almost entirely, and changed the other half of the game to make one of the best multi-player experiences of the generation.

From Killzone 2 to Killzone 3, they added zero gravity combat, stealth mechanics, jet packs, and the finest use of 3D in the gaming industry.

If we are going to think like "this and that game is more of the same then no one buys anymore games cause theyre all the same, real gamers will play just about anything, and, to be fair, killzone shadow fall isnt the same killzone you played on ps3, its more of an open world game.

Preordered launch edition on amazon the minute it was announced at E3. Non bundle launch editions sold out a long time ago. Cant wait! I am hearing Sony will bring the PS4 out before the Xbox One! Now, lets get that official release date!!!

Xbox One only has 2 and only 1 is sold out.

I preordered the WatchDogs bundle as soon as it was available on Amazon. I logged in a day too late for the launch day edition. Even paid for the 2 day shipping so I can get it the day it launches. Either way I hope every gme enjoys their new consoles whether its Xbox1, PS4...or both.

What's really indicative of the consumer thought process, is the fact that SONY post launch systems are selling faster than XO Launch systems.

XO Launch systems are available, but ppl would rather wait, possibly a few months, in order to receive the better gaming machine.

This is the trend already, before both machines are out and in homes. The trend will be exponential this gen too. With so many PS4s dominating the landscape, and a plethora of former Xbox supporters now playing on PS4, those second, third and fourth wave buyers are going to lean toward SONY as well, because everyone they know is playing on it.

I have played them all and yes there have been minimal changes.

Less player weight in 3 (dumbing it down for the COD crowd), overpowered kits in 3s MP, and a few other story changes but other than that nothing. I am saying we actually have had enough Killzone I am not looking for them to reinvent the series, rather give us a new IP. Whatever some people just play shooter after shooter after shooter.

I will enjoy by launch bundle with a game that is not just shovelware.
