This game launched with a founder system that provided in game currency, a currency that per person is on a daily timer of like 24,000 a day. If you bought into their little program you got like 600,000 or 2,000,000. This resulted in the auction house being so expensive that new players couldn't buy anything without paying money or getting to endgame and selling things to founders. To read a review that says it wasn't p2w makes me laugh.

Perfect World Entertainment has to be the worst publisher ever, because the game itself is decent and it's like the f2p model just took a dump all over it.
