One of the first titles announced for the Japanese WiiWare service last year was Karaoke Joysound, a karaoke program that promised downloadable music for the Wii. Today, at a Tokyo press conference that also saw the unveiling of new WiiWare games like Alien Crush and Blue Oasis, Hudson shared specifics on this potential killer app for Nintendo's new download service.
Called Voice to Victory, it now has a special Miiverse community, and tasks you with singing your heart out and posting your In-Depth Rating Overall Score screenshot to that community up until 5th May. You can enter as many times as you like to go for a top score, with the following prizes on offer.

"The problem with karaoke video games is you're limited to a selection of songs on a disc. Joysound Wii tackles this issue by offering users all you can sing tickets. Pay 300 Wii Points and you get access to a library of 30,000 karaoke songs for 24 hours. That's not a bad price for an impulse purchase.
Hudson also has long term payment plans like 72 hours for 500 Wii Points, 30 days for 1,000 Wii Points, and 90 days for 2,000 Wii Points. For less than the cost of going to a karaoke bar on a weekend you can get one month of Joysound."
