Twitch TV Streaming Enabled For PS4? War Thunder Update Hints at This Possibility

At the touch of a button, War Thunder players can now stream directly to their Twitch channel. For optimum presentation, they can customize the quality and resolution of the stream up to Full HD. War Thunder is also coming to the PS4 console exclusively at the moment, alongside the PC and iOS and the obvious question now is whether or not PS4 users will also be able to stream their gameplay to Twitch TV?

When they were streaming on Ustream at E3 it was very impressive. So who knows, but it sounds like on the PS4 you can publish and stream with any service you like.

Well I was just reading the latest issue of Gameinformer and they say:
"Microsoft recently announced a partnership with Twitch.tv, a popular live game streaming service that also has a deal in place with Sony."
So maybe the idea isn't crazy. Maybe like youtube it just hasn't been announced yet.

But even with xbone is it streaming just the game? Cause a lot of people have other things on top the game feed. A web cam feed, player scores, a timer for speedrunners etc etc.

It's something that console gaming has never had directly integrated before. Live streaming and game recording is a pretty big part of the gaming community, predominantly on PC, that obviously isn't a necessity to play games, but it's not a bad thing.

I wanted to point this out in the other article, but I knew someone would make an article and explain to people that It's not exclusive to Xbox like the fans were claiming. Goes to show that anything that the competition doen't have will be hyped by the fans of either side.

Off topic but I just went to the War Thunder site and saw the game trailer for the first time. That damn trailer looks pretty sick! And they hit my weakness. I love when words pop on the screen to the beat of the music. And scenes changing to the beat also.
On topic, I imagine that you would select your default/preferred stream service on PS4. Either way I think its great as I don't have any preference between twitch or ustream. They both do great broadcast but now that I think of it... Ustream is usually in a bit higher quality.
