Rising Star Games Focuses on a Family Line Up of Games

Richard of PopCults.com writes "At an E3 show that would feature mature titles like Battlefield 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Saints Row IV, it is nice to see that some family games were present and well-represented at the expo. Certain companies have made it a point to show off games aimed at the family oriented gamer and one of the most high profile companies doing so is Rising Star Games. Known for titles such as Deadly Premonition, Virtue’s Last Reward and Harvest Moon, at E3 Rising Star Games definitely concentrated on the family aspect of gaming."

there is seriously no store that will a have discount that will have the last of us remaster retail for around 25 bucks?

I have a physical copy of TLoU, but I would love to have a digital copy. $23 sounds like a sale to me.

I will offload my physical copy (though I do love the box) and go digital.

I decided for this generation, all the games that I can just play over and over and never get tired of them will be digital.

I don't have to swap disc, and I don't plan on trading these games in.

$6 is a steal for Deadly Premonition, even if it is a sub standard port of the 360 game. Pick it up, you'll be entertained one way or the other.

The PS3 version of Deadly Premonition:Director's Cut is an enhanced expanded port from the original 360 version. The original 360 version was roundly panned for it's terrible controls, graphics, dialog was called the worst game ever by some. Some found it fun like watching a really bad B-Movie. The PS3 version fixes it's many glitches and it runs and controls better with a DS3 and the newly included PS Move controls. At $6 it's certainly worth a buy and you'll get a some laughs from this and is the Definitive version.

Nintendo Download: 6th February (Europe)

It's Nintendo Download update time, Europe, and this week's Thursday offerings are perhaps more attractive for the discounts than the new downloads. We do have the arrival of a DSiWare / 3DS eShop series on the Wii U, along with some classic 8-bit sport and a new DSiWare game, but Rising Star Games perhaps offers the most temptation with a series of retail download discounts.

Doth mine eyes deceive? NES Open Tournament Golf? Can it be true? Clearly, Nintendo has looked at their failing sales numbers and decided to fight back by aggressively selling their greatest classic games through the virtual console service.

Blue skies are here again.
