It was imagined, it happened. Sony drop a massive £80 from the Xbox One price tag and had almost as good a line up as Microsoft did (just maybe not on the game side). However, they have stole the show at E3. No online connectivity required, cheaper price, great graphics, yes it went way past that even with the poorest livestream I can remember.
System Shock returns to Xbox and PlayStation with a faithful recreation of the classic, adding new features, ending and 4K 60FPS visuals
How did the mysterious free-to-play extraction shooter go from a promising spin-off of The Division to dead in the water?
A simple and straightforward 1v1 samurai game.
This would be a first; to see a system get a price cut before it even launches.
They're still going to have an issue with DRM.
Their problem is going to be the same as the Nintendo Wii U. The price is inflated by something extra (like the Kinect, which might make up the full $100 dollar difference, just like the Gamepad adds to the Wii U's price), which will make budgeting it a lot more difficult. It will be interesting to see it happen, though I really don't know if M$ will want to take that kind of hit, especially when there is no guarantee the seemingly more consumer PS4 has more than enough good buzz.
I would want a kinect 2, I never used the last one though... thoughts and comments appreciated though its so late in the UK I will come tomorrow and look. Aplologies.
