Mortal Kombat's Scorpion is the next DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today have confirmed that Scorpion will be the next DLC character that will be available for the DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.The version of Scorpion seen in the game is designed by Jim Lee, Co-Publisher at DC Entertainment, and pays homage to NetherRealm Studios’ original blockbuster franchise.

Definitely a disappointment, I mean why would I want a character that was in every single Mortal Kombat game (including MK Vs DC) rather than a new character from the DC universe which this game is based on. Super disappointed with this decision even if Jim Lee redesigned him.

There is over 70 years worth of DC characters that could've been released. Characters like Power girl, Braniac, Beast Boy, and Martian Manhunter were the way to go (I mean MM was already in the friggin game!!! D:). And adding Rorschach as a guest character would be awesome as the Watchmen graphic novels were published by DC and the actor Jackie Earl Haley portrayed both Freddy Krueger and Rorschach in the live-action films. :b (JEH's Freddy was in Mk9). <--- That could've been there subtle nod towards Mk, instead we get this... -______________-"

yup, Scorpion will sell as a character and I think that was the biggest motivation for their decisions. I like the idea of Jim Lee redesigning Mortal Kombat characters (scorpion looks pretty good too) but I don't see why we needed another MK/DC crossover..so many DC characters as you said, and Rorschach would've been super awesome.

I wasn't to thrilled about Scorpion, but they did him Justice.He looks cool and his fighting looks so fluid. According to the rumors, Zod is supposedly next, but maybe they'll surprise us with the MMH. Who knows.I hope that they'll include 4 mroe characters after the first four.

I gotta admit, I wasn't thrilled with having him in at first. But he does look cool designed by Jim Lee. But...Martian Manhunter at the end? Oh please say it's true......

But I would've preferred Shang Tsung. He could've turned into other DC characters that couldn't make it into the game.

We are kinda stressing here that they're giving us a fighter from a totally unrelated and different fighting series but now you want to waste another possible character slot on a Nintendo exclusive golf/tennis playing, kart racing, party throwing, occasionally bro smashing character???? SHM (,_, )

If any console exclusive character is getting used then i promote Cole MacGrath (inFAMOUS). Not only is he not a stranger to 2D fighters (PASBR, Street Fighter X Tekken) but he's also a DC comic book character and even appears in the video game DC Universe Online.
