With virtually no competition in its newly formed genre, Anomaly 2 still has the advantage of uniqueness. In that case, is it an anomaly in a good way or a bad way? We’re about to find out." Game review of the tower offence game Anomaly 2. It's an interesting take on strategic defence, but does it hold up in comparison with its predecessor and competitors?

Anomaly 2's singleplayer portion is basically identical to the first game, so if that was your jam, then by all means, go weapons free. If it wasn't your jam, then maybe the multiplayer will keep you interested. Either way, there are fun and interesting gameplay ideas hidden away in Anomaly 2 that can keep you busy over a boring weekend."
