We all want our games to have “HD Graphics” because it usually means they will look better. There are several different ways that HD can be described. So what exactly does “HD” mean for next-gen consoles?

The jump from 480p to 720p is the same of a jump as going is from 720p to 1080p. I know most 6th games ran at 480i but it still is the same amount of pixels.
You can increase the res all you want , but unless you actually add more micro details to take advantage of it , it is a waste of time , pretty much ... I'm sure the ps4 will deliver in that apartment :-)

If Sony is pushing devs for 1080p/60FPS I hope if that can't be maintained that they opt for 60FPS instead of 1080p if possible.
