Indies Skeptic About Xbox One, But On Board With Sony and Nintendo

Gamesta.com picks up on reactions from indie developers. Toki Tori creators Two Tribes are skeptical that development for Xbox One will likely happen for them, which is something that the creator of Retro City Rampage predicted as well. They are, however, on board with the other next gen platforms.

Heh, nice to see an article where a company is not skeptical about Nintendo. I wonder how EA felt about Xbox One's reveal.

EA shared the stage and had one of the, in my opinion, strongest reveals with fantasy team inclusions, so I think they're pretty positive. I'm not a sports fan at all, so it doesn't mean anything to me personally, but you got to admit that such a facilitating inclusion like that is going to make a lot of people, who are into sports, veeeery happy.

well EA state that they have Wii U games in development despite that fact that just a couple days they state no games in the works they must have saw the backlash M$ is getting and decided to make Wii U games

They were on stage with Microsoft and they promised "Unprecedented" support

(Just like they did for the WiiU, two years ago at E3...)

So far,
it seems like they are doing that giving them some exclusive modes and a new game engine called "Ignite" (I think).

We will see.

Yeah, it is good to read this. Iwata said that they were going to fix Indie relations from the Wii-

And it is also great to read some good news rather than another obstacle. (Not saying I want XB1 to take a negative but I am just glad that Nintendo isn't).

Indie developers have actually been very accepting of Wii U because Nintendo has made it very easy for them. That is why E-Shop games keep getting announced.

We already know XboxOne will not win over Japan. Indies abandoning camp is not good. They've had all that time to get this reveal right and that got it wrong. They most go hard at E3 are go home.

That's right, more games. I doubt sony or ms have shown their full hand but sonys first hand sure was more effective than ms's one was. Only the ignorant can argue against that with a serious face or somebody who thinks about media first when it comes to their gaming consoles.

Its funny cuz most the games x1 was talking about, is going on PS4 as well.. They had nothing but a refined OS with kinect, Halo TV series, & smart glass functions.. Sony will have a refined OS with PS4 eye, video shows, & multitouch/vita functions too... Plus a lot more games which is the reason for getting a console.. I can press my input button on my remote to switch to my cable TV just as fast as someone says "xbox tv".. smh

@Divine Usually I don't agree with you because you lobby to insult Nintendo fans whenever you can but you are actually speaking some truth now. other than the share button and letting someone play your games for you this ones pretty useless it's a roku that plays games.

i dont insult nintendo fans because i am one myself.. I just dont appreciate the fact that they dont embrace todays technology until a generation later.. I have a wii u but it doesnt feel like i have a nx gen system.. It feels like i have a wii in HD with 3DS capabilities..

I do love nintendos craftsmanship in their software however & i think its unrivaled in the adventure/platforming genre... They just need to make some adjustments like accomplishments, better online communications, & do whatever it takes to get publishers to publish games after they get developers to actually make them.. My experiences with 3rd party games on nintendo systems are very bland & i cant help that thats how i feel..

Microsoft showed me where their priorities lie nx gen & its obviously not about software.. Its about entertainment as a whole, NOT GAMING.. So as it stands for now, im very glad i bought a wii u & will keep it cuz nintendo delivers games (1st party wise).. MS will be at the bottom of my list & thats IF they manage to get some software that interests me

Microsoft is making a big, big mistake by not welcoming indies with open arms. Only the future will tell how much of a difference it makes for the ones who accept them.
