I believe I heard Sony wanted cross platform to happen a while back, but Microsoft didn't want it. I'm not 100% there, but it's what I heard. Not trying to hate on Microsoft or anything. (Which is a shame I have to even say that, but it does need saying.) Regardless, I hope all companies embrace that, as it seems a logical step forward in online gaming.

That said, I\m not sure I want cross play. Hackers are far worse on PC than on consoles.

I think u misread what Snookies12 meant was between xbl/psn cross platform play. That would be awesome to have cross platform play for pc/ps4/720 even the wii u if it can hang. I wouldnt playing with ppl on other systems.

I hope Dc Universe, Ps Home and Dust 514 gets ported to ps4

Dust 514 should get ported cause CCP said they are going to support it with updates n etc for the next 10 years. Plus if its one thing CCP knows how ti do well its upgrading the graphical power of their games every few years

best to get the ps4 versions of games its likely all of them will have cross platform play especially for the pc centric titles giving ps community an even bigger gaming player base.

i think out of all these gens playstation has earned and deserved a purchase of there console for every console because of how long they support it and for how much value they put in it. buying a ps4 would make sure other companys dont just sit there and do nothing to improve.
