This week sees a number of new additions to retro gaming catalogue on Nintendo consoles, including Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Ghouls’n Ghosts on the Wii U’s recently launched Virtual Console platform and Mega Man 5 on the Nintendo 3DS. Furthermore, the critically acclaimed Super Metroid is available at a reduced price for a limited time.
Super Metroid was a monumental triumph of interactive art, a game that achieved new heights in presentation, level design, and pacing, and despite a few flaws, manages to hold up astoundingly well to this day.

Fusion did a great job at it. Really love that horror feel with metroid. I mean you are completely alone on alien planets filled with horrific monsters and toxic environments.
The 2024 Game Anniversaries include some major titles including Half-Life 2, Uncharted 2, and Minecraft.
