With little more than a month remaining before the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV, the game has reached yet another major milestone on its road to release: a proper rating. Earlier today, the ESRB officially dropped the "Rating Pending" emblem with the all-too-familiar "M for Mature" badge of honour.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.

yeah yeah yeah....the retailers would not carry it. I know. I'm not saying it for that. I'm saying that I'd like to see what a GTA would be like w/o R* holding back at all to get to M. Either way it's a day one purchase for me.
I hope no one does something stupid and then blames the game for it. I really hate when that happens.
I think ,
i was worried before they might have dumbed it down for a teen rating.
that would have sucked.
Good.
Mature rating just because you can kill hookers. I can kill hookers in real life too. I guess the more like real life a game is the more it needs to be kept away from children.
