(Editor’s note: In this feature, members of the Pixelitis staff write small, easily digestible reviews big enough to ‘fit on a postcard’ – hence the title. It can be about the whole experience or just a small piece of the pie. No scores needed.)
"I was never very musically talented as a child, and as a result I had to live vicariously through friends and family who had the gift of music.
After a while, I discovered music through rhythm games like Guitar Hero and Frequency. However, there was one game that baffled me to no end, and that game was Parappa the Rapper 2.
The Parappa the Rapper series has you mimic the words that scroll by on the screen via carefully-timed button presses. The scenarios are cute and interesting, and above all catchy. Each song had its own unique flavor and style, catering to various musical tastes. All of it seemed to be tailored for the casual gamer, with an emphasis on Simon Says gameplay mechanics."

Teardown out today, November 15, all other titles available from November 21.
Been thinking of getting Teardown on Steam for Steam Deck play. Heard a lot of great reviews for it.
Nothing of interest for me. My sub is up in 2 weeks & I'll go with Essentials only for cloud saves & online. Having Extra or Premium is a waste for me seeing most games that land on the service are old that I've played already or old games I never had any interest in playing.
The 1990s were a golden era for gaming soundtracks and gaming as a whole. Here's some of the OSTs that defined the decade.
I would also include Super Metroid and the original Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES. Both had superb soundtracks!
Graham and Jenni check out an obscure promotional PlayStation 2 disc from Japan! Included are modified demos of PaRappa the Rapper 2 and Ape Escape spinoff Piposaru 2001, as well as a video of the Piposaru mascot and a pal checking out New York City.
