PlayStation Blog reports:"Hey guys, it's been a while since the last Hot Shots Update … we've been a bit swamped here what with the endless hours we play… I mean work… on Hot Shots Golf; however, the timeless idiom is indeed true: all good things must come to an end.
Well for us at least.
And now, we're officially done with the production side (in a way) of things, and the past few year's worth of blood, sweat, and tears has finally come to fruition: Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds is officially available nationwide, at retail outlets near you.
I know we've been kinda quiet, and the questions have been building up; however, lest you think that we're all fun and games (well we are in a way) – we've been hard at work, like for example hosting various online tournaments both in person and virtually online… and you can check out some of the results here, here, and here.
Right, moving on: "so what's next Chris?" you might ask. To that I'll answer "DLC" – as in Downloadable Content… of which we'll have plenty of, and not just extra characters or new outfits… but actual new game modes, which brings me back to the first paragraph: our work is not finished yet."

Continuing our tradition of offering a great PSN sale to start the year off right, we’re back in 2013 with the “13 for ‘13” sale on PlayStation Network. Starting tomorrow, January 22nd, and running through January 28th, we’re bringing you 13 great PS3 games at 50% off their regular price, and PlayStation Plus members can save even more with 75% off each title. Additionally, we’re upping the ante this year by bringing you 13 of the hottest, most critically acclaimed films of the previous year at great prices!
Will be picking up LBPK for 10 dollars. This might be the closest PS3 users will get to a steam sale on PSN.
A step in the right direction, Sony.
@Nitrowolf2, I have the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank collections on Disc, but if I didn't that would be a great way to get into those games.
Unfinished Swan was on sale during the Holiday Essentials sale and I missed it, so this time I don't plan on doing that again.
Those are actually some really great PS Plus discounts, especially for the likes of LBP Karting and Unfinished Swan
What is that I read on the title? Games and MOVIES? can someone check up on that? is this true? or just a bad title..
SPC writes, "Like Uncharted: Drake's Fortune before it, recently Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots received a long-awaited patch, enabling trophies for prospective collectors to obtain. That sparked an interest in me to see what other games in the PlayStation 3 library that came out before Sony and third-parties' implementation of the trophy system. These five following games are ones that I would no doubt be interested in playing through again if such a trophy patch were to be included, though the likelihood is not that high."
Deployed last July for the Japanese edition, the patch adding Move and 3D support to the latest iteration of Minna No Golf is now available for the Western versions as well (namely Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds and Everybody's Golf: World Tour). First impressions and pics.
That there is some DLC planned for this, as well as some other things that Chris cryptically described (I have my ideas on what he's talking about, but I'm keeping those to myself).
This makes the game even more attractive.
JAPAN HAD ONE
i called 4 stores and they didn't get it in yet
=(
hopefully tmrw. especially when i have a $15 off coupon valid until the 26th.
"but it’s really going to put the “Go” in Golf (is that cryptic enough for you?)" - hrmmmm.. i think i have an idea of what this is
and none had it :(, all said it would be on sale tomorrow though... so huzzah!
