Are Atari opening Baldur's Gate on Xbox 360?

This afternoon word reached the OXM team that Atari are in the initial stages of bringing the critically acclaimed Baldur's Gate franchise to Xbox 360!

And although nothing more than rumour at this stage, albeit from Atari insiders, there are some intriguing snippets of info that back up these initial whispers.

Last seen on the Xbox under the stewardship of the now defunct Acclaim, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II was then developed by Black Isle Studios. Since then, a number of employees from Black Isle have jumped ship to Obsidian Entertainment - the very same developers that have just finished work on Atari's Neverwinter Nights 2.

Could Baldur's Gate 3 be their next project?

I guess the 360 will become the console of choice for those that like MMO, same as FPS.
