As January 12th, 2007 dawned on us, we were introduced to the quite forgetful character that is Wayne Holden, a man with a past that remained well–not remembered. As the story centralizes on the amnesiac state of Holden, the player is immersed in a gripping story of the past and future of the planet E.D.N. III. Now, nearly a year later, we are introduced to Capcom's latest iteration: Lost Colonies. Very much like it's predecessor, a 360/PC only title (at least until February 26th, 2008).
The entire Lost Planet series plus Resident Evil: Code Veronica X get Xbox One backward compatibility today.
Gamervision: "With about a quarter of the United States population buried in snow, there is an inordinate number of gamers at home right now. In between shoveling sessions, these gamers just might be looking for the perfect game to play to get their minds off the bitter cold barrage of frozen hell that continues to close schools and offices across the northeast. Fortunately, we at Gamervision have assembled a list of the perfect games to keep you warm during this winter lockdown, and we are perfectly qualified to do so; we're all wearing hawaiian shirts."
8 - Dante's Inferno
Hell may not be the most inviting place. In fact, by design, it's kind of the least inviting. It is, however, quite warm, and Dante's Inferno promises 8-10 hours of Stygian action, complete with plenty of searing flames. Ahhh, searing flames. Besides, if some recent reviews are any indication, people might need an excuse to play this game, anyway, so this one's as good as any.
Looks like my one snowday just turned into two. Hmmm, Wave Race 64 IS on virtual console.....
Kotaku Japan (via Google Translate) is reporting that Marcus and Dom from Gears of War are appearing in the Xbox 360 version of Lost Planet 2.
Well that's different.
What extra characters will the other versions feature, I wonder.
Not too odd. Remember the PS3 release of Lost Planet included Mega Man and Frank West among others.
Granted they were Capcom characters, but still, Marcus and Dom probably fit the style of the game a bit better.
For the PS3 version it'll likely be Sony owned characters. If Resistance or Killzone had better known characters I'd guess they would be likely. Kratos is always possible, but he doesn't seem like he'd fit the universe.
I know people will clown me but this will be a AAA smash all over again.
I'm stoked about being able to run or walk faster, stellar!.
I'm glad they added some female charactors tons of girls and wemen play this game its one of the most popular family casual retail AAA the 360 has everybody plays it(meaning it appeals to many genre's).

I thought only games over 90% were considered AAA status? j/k, LP was a great game on 360. I laugh when people mention the "its not AAA status as its not got 90%" We don`t think like that in the industry.
"its one of the most popular family casual retail AAA the 360 has everybody plays it"
Lost Planet a family casual game?? er, no its not. Which hat did pull that from? Clearly you are misguided as to what a casual game is.
"(meaning it appeals to many genre's)."
It appeals to many genre`s?????? what on earth are you talking about POG?!. Do you mean its a game with a few different genres molded together perhaps?

Games over 90% is a fanboy meaning of AAA, have you seen me say otherwise?, AAA to me is a game that makes people wan't to buy a console not what score it gets a game that stinks to me but got 90% and above means nothing to me.

Do you play it fool? I play it everyday and people from many demographics play it and yes I play with families that take turns playing it kids/mom/dad more than anyother game I play online.(not surprizing its one of the most action packed non bloody games on the console)
There is Lost Planet Teams of married gamers that play all the time and are known, Father and son matches all the time.
Its a AAA because I'v played it many times where you check folks game history and score and its the only game they own or have played even more so with Japanese gamers.
Everybodies playing it again sense the Colonies was announced on XBL, I play LP lots what you say means nothing to me its like you haven't really played it saying what you said.
Did you even read the text of the post or most other opinions about this game? or are talking out of your ass again trying to prove POG wrong. No doubt the Japanese style of this game isn't as popular as other western shooter.
Its hard to believe you've every played this for any lenth of time considering LP is known to have very mixed demographics .

You got me on that one I wanted to type Demographics.
I'll pick this one up. I loved the original. It had one of the best multplayer experiences available.
This game has worldwide appeal. I love playing LP multiplayer. Its cool that they show everyone's country of origin so that you know whos playing and where. This was one of the first games on the 360 that really made you feel connected to the whole 360 community. And in my opinion, this is the only mech game this generation that is fun to play (so far). Definately gonna get LP Colonies.
