The iPhone's App Store is filled to the gills with freemium titles, allowing a good gaming experience for the patient or the willing-to-pay premium player. Given the investment, one who is interested in such an endeavor will most likely only pick one or two of these types of games to play, as running lots of them will result in either no progress, constant distraction to the games, or a hefty bill. Legacy of a Thousand Suns is a portable version of a Facebook app that has been around for a while now, but why should this game be the one to dedicate your freemium gaming to?

Limitless and completely clean power in the form of solar energy? A bounty of treasures, at the end of a trail marked by the aforementioned fiery sky balls? The worst sun burn in recorded history?
FTG Writes: Legacy of A Thousand Suns is a strategy game by 5th Planet Games and Zattikka that started life as a web-based title and has now migrated to the mobile world of iOS. Even though I haven’t played the browser version, I do have to say that Legacy of A Thousand Suns seems like it should have started as an iOS game.
5th Planet credits its success with social game Legacy of a Thousand Suns to many factors, but one most of all.
